"From the visionary creators of Office 2007 and 2003." Hilarious. This latest promo video for Microsoft's upcoming Office 2010 features the grave of Clippy, the annoyingly helpful Office Assistant that thankfully vanished with Office 2007.

Someone has unleased a rogue font on the Internet. Meanwhile, an agent hasn't yet gotten over the death of his partner, Clippy.

In reality, Microsoft has struggled with getting people to upgrade to Office 2007, though not as mightily as they have struggled with getting people to upgrade to Windows Vista. Why upgrade, if it works fine, right? And the Ribbon doesn't help, either.

However, if you're interested, you can sign up for a chance at an invite to a Technical Preview at the Office 2010: The Movie website. Of course, that site requires Silverlight.
